LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading learning and communications companies, has been awarded two major international accolades at the 2009 Brandon Hall awards. Based in California, The Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards is in its 15th year and recognises the best in innovative learning content, technology and initiatives in workplace learning. LINE won two gold awards: one for Best Custom Content for a military programme called Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and the other for Best Blended Learning Programme for work carried out with IKEA called Discovering the IKEA Concept. LINE faced stiff competition with this years awards attracting over 300 entries from 20 different countries.

LINE Communications has been awarded two major accolades at the recent e-learning awards in London. The first was awarded in the category of Excellence in the Production of Learning Content for a Learning Centre and Foundation Skills programme developed for Ford of Europe. The programme, designed to engage 21,000 learners within Ford's dealerships across Europe, was translated into 23 European languages. It has secured significant business results for Ford since its launch in early 2008.

The selection is in the Digital Collections and Resource Banks category and is for a 'Level 6 Science Toolkit' which LINE has developed for National Strategies. The toolkit is a library of over 2,000 individual resources which helps school teachers deliver improvements in the way they teach the subjects and provide better, more focussed support to pupils.
