LINE on top form during difficult times

LINE Communications, a leading provider of learning and communications solutions, announces record results for its 2008 financial year end. The achievement of revenues in excess of £7m (an increase of 40% on 2007) crowns a three year growth period which has seen high levels of planned growth and profitability for the company. In the period January 2006 - December 2008, LINE's overall growth has exceeded 135%.

The company has continued to develop and broaden its global client list throughout 2008 winning new clients such as Syngenta, Tetra Pak, the Home Office, Capital One and Xerox. Another major success for LINE was its increased presence in the UK defence sector, with a broad range of strategically important projects being undertaken during the year. Its central European office in Zürich made a significant contribution to group turnover from clients within mainland Europe.

LINE has enjoyed continued success with business from its consulting and professional services which the market has eagerly seized upon. The scope of this offer, which includes expertise in learning strategies, branding, technical solutions, internal and external communications and change management is a significant growth area for the business.

The company has also achieved external recognition for its bespoke learning solutions, winning two major awards including the IVCA Gold award for Internal Interactive Media and the IT Training award for e-learning project of the year.
