LINE gain Buying Solutions' recognised public sector supplier status
Public sector organisations can now get easier, faster and more cost effective access to LINE Communications learning and communications solutions, following their successful award as a recognised supplier on the Buying Solutions' Learning & Development and e-learning Solutions' framework agreement. These are now available to all Government departments, local authorities and other public sector contracting authorities throughout the UK.
Buying Solutions (formally known as OGC Buying Solutions) are an executive agency of the OGC in the Treasury and were established to help the Government deliver best value from its spending. The framework agreements allow public sector organisations to buy a range of services through pre-tendered arrangements which are compliant with EU procurement legislation.
Whilst LINE is already a major contracted supplier of a range of bespoke content, consultancy and technology services to the public sector, this award represents a particular achievement as only organisations that have successfully satisfied Buying Solutions' rigorous selection criteria are awarded framework agreements.
Under the Learning & Development and e-learning Solutions Framework, public sector organisations can now purchase LINE solutions through two 'lots', Leadership and Management and Information Technology.

In support of the new supplier status, LINE will exhibit at Procurement Solutions live 2009 in Earls Court , London on the 9th and 10th of June, where they will show examples of work from within the public sector.
