LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading learning and communications providers has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2009 National Training Awards.

LINE is a finalist for the Partnership and Collaboration Award in recognition of work undertaken for the Identity and Passport Service (IPS) on its Interview Officer learning and development programme.

This fully blended learning programme, designed and delivered in collaboration with IPS and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has trained over 500 IPS staff and managers on the process and procedures required to conduct the new passport application interviews. The results of the programme have been independently assessed as having delivered significant improvements in staff knowledge, capability and return on investment.

The National Training Awards are one of the industry’s most prestigious accolades and they seek to identify and celebrate organisations and individuals that have achieved really outstanding business and personal success through investment in training. The awards are announced on the 8th of October at a ceremony to be held at Banqueting House in London.

Steve Ash, LINE’s Sales and Marketing Director says, “We are delighted to have been selected as a finalist in this category. It underlines our total commitment to working in partnership with our clients. The tri-partite collaboration working on this project created a truly exceptional blended learning programme. We’re incredibly proud to have been acknowledged in this way.”
