New Season of the Learning Hack Podcast Kicks Off
The popular and long-running Learning Hack podcast, one of the top 5% of podcasts globally, begins a new season. The podcast celebrates its 5th anniversary with publication of the 100th episode on 9 September 2024.
The Learning Hack podcast, which published its first episode in September 2019, celebrates its fifth anniversary with publication of the 100th episode on 9th September, 2024. The guest for this anniversary episode is Simon Brown, Global Learning & Development Leader, Partner, Talent from EY.
The podcast was the brainchild of Showrunner and Host, John Helmer. From modest beginnings, the podcast has grown to become an established and well-loved feature of the learning landscape, rated among the top 5% of podcasts globally for listens in any genre (source: Listen Notes). The guest list for the show is a who's-who of luminaries from the world of learning, HR and academia.
Beginning as an audio-only podcast, it started publishing a full-length video version through YouTube in May 2020, although impactful and creative video trailers were a feature of its promotion on social media from the start.
In April 2021, the Learning Hack team added a second production to the stable, the highly rated Great Minds on Learning podcast, featuring Donald Clark as co-host.
Learning Hack podcasts have garnered 122,000+ views and listens in 138+ countries around the world, with steady audience growth.
The current season is the eleventh, and aside from Simon Brown will feature guests including Charles Jennings, Gregg Collins, Anne-Valrie Corboz, Chris Jay and Brigid McCormack. Sponsors for this season include iVentiv and NIIT. New episodes will be issued fortnightly until Christmas, with a twelfth season in planning to commence mid-January.
Live events are also planned, in particular a recording of Great Minds on Learning in front of a live audience at the Online Educa Berlin Conference in November. This will be a Q&A episode with Donald Clark, and the public are invited to send in their questions about any areas of learning theory and science covered in the series so far, to be answered as part of the podcast.
