Netex are thrilled to see their new and improved position in the Core Leader Zone on the 2023 Fosway 9-Grid™ for Digital Learning. This new position supports the merger and acquisition strategy with Virtual College, and highlights the combined strengths of both companies with an enhanced product portfolio and improved service capabilities.

Since last year’s Fosway 9-GridTM, Netex, a Spanish-based learning technology provider, have seen a positive trajectory up the Core Leader zone; a move that reflects the significant growth and changes that have happened in the last fifteen months, especially since the acquisition of Virtual College, a UK-based digital training provider.

In the last year, Netex have worked hard to reach a new English-speaking audience, cementing their global presence. Thanks to their acquisition of Virtual College, they’ve also consolidated their position in the UK L&D market – making waves at events such as World of Learning and launching a brand new release of their learning ecosystem, Learning Cloud 6. By bringing together Virtual College’s ready-to-go training courses with their large-scale, next generation bespoke and technology offerings, they have enriched their portfolio by creating a suite of products that caters for all businesses, from small ‘micro’ businesses who need ready-to-go training to large corporations who need not only a learning platform, but bespoke technology and content services on top of it.

Carlos Ezquerro, CEO of Netex, shares his thoughts: “After a year of hard work, we are thrilled to see such a positive move in the Fosway 9-GridTM Core Leader Zone. It’s a huge achievement and is a great reflection of all our work to continue to grow and develop in this ever-changing market.”

One of their biggest developments of this year is Learning Cloud 6, their next-gen ecosystem, which is taking the L&D industry by storm. The intuitive user experience and social-centric features are getting everyone excited, and with new features, such as Share, Author and the Learning Cloud LMS, businesses are able to create dynamic and engaging learner experiences that learners can really get their teeth into.

They are not going to stand still though. With many exciting new plans ahead, they feel like this chapter in their story is just beginning. If you wish to know more about their new technologies and services, visit their website or, if you’re visiting Learning Technologies in May, stop by stand L20.
