Extensive research by the Institute of Leadership and Management (The InstituteLM) into the knowledge, skills, attitudes, behaviours and values of successful leaders has revealed five key dimensions:

  • Authenticity
  • Vision
  • Achievement
  • Ownership
  • Collaboration

These Dimensions of Leadership enable successful outcomes in any sort of organisation, whether private, public or voluntary sector. That’s why Clear Lessons content has been mapped to these five key themes. Current and aspiring leaders and managers can now easily view playlists to support development in these crucial areas.

Martin Baker, founder and CEO of Clear Lessons, commented “Good leadership skills have never been more in demand. That’s why we’ve made it as easy as possible to concentrate on the key topics that research has shown are the most critical.

“If you’re not using video to enhance your leadership development programmes then you’re really missing a trick. Videos have the power to engage people with content in a way that other content alone just can’t. And that helps learning stick.”

Martin will explain why Clear Lessons has mapped its bite-sized videos to the five key leadership Dimensions at a free seminar at Learning Technologies this week. The free seminar takes place at 2.45pm on Wednesday 13th February in Theatre 2 on the exhibition floor at ExCeL and is repeated at 2pm on Thursday 14th February in Theatre 8.
