In its 12th Year, The Blue Eskimo L&D work and Salary Report is based on a survey of over 900 Learning and Development professionals across all disciplines.

 

This year’s L&D Work and Salary Report is based on Blue Eskimo's 12th annual survey, conducted in the closing weeks of 2023. It collected quantitative survey data from over 900 learning and development professionals based in the UK or working remotely with UK-based companies.

Across all disciplines and job titles as diverse as L&D Manager, L&D Business Partner, Chief Learning Officer, Learning Experience Designer, Instructional Designer and Customer Success Manager.

Subject areas and data collected cover questions relating to: Macroeconomic impact and L&D budgets, salaries and working conditions, employee relations, hybrid and remote working attitudes, and job satisfaction and happiness, together with new questions relating to areas such as the potential impact of generative AI in L&D and qualifications in Learning and Development and career impact.
