Blue Eskimo, the leading specialist recruitment services provider in the training sector, has gained the Learning & Performance Institute’s accreditation for the third year running – continuing the company’s commitment to the Learning & Performance Institute’s Code of Practice.
The Learning & Performance Institute accreditation is recognised as the de facto standard in the learning industry and is often a requirement for training tenders from Government departments, commercial companies and third-sector organisations.
Colin Steed, chief executive of the Learning & Performance Institute, said, “Through this accreditation, Blue Eskimo continues to demonstrate a commitment to providing a fair and honest service to its customers. The accreditation provides further confirmation of Blue Eskimo’s status as a market leader in the recruitment of training, e-learning and technology professionals. The Institute is delighted that Blue Eskimo remains part of the growing list of Learning & Performance Institute-accredited organisations which have a collective responsibility to raise standards in the learning and development community.”
“Learning & Performance Institute accreditation gives employers confidence in the quality of our service and the assurance that our recruitment processes have been independently assessed,” said Blue Eskimo's commercial director, Nick Bate.
The accreditation remains the first of its kind for a recruitment services provider. “We believe that accreditation is an endorsement of our professionalism and our focus on quality. We’re absolutely delighted to continue to demonstrate that we reach the high standards required by the Institute,” added Bate.
The Learning & Performance Institute was founded in the 1990s (originally as the Institute for IT Training) to raise standards in training; it runs a wide-reaching accreditation programme, covering the different types of organisation involved in training, including: commercial training providers, corporate training departments, open learning centres, external service providers, learning technologies providers, e-learning providers, learning facilities providers and technical support centres.
