Trivantis Vaast: Faster, More Effective eLearning Course Development

Deerfield Beach, Fla. and San DiegoLearning NewsTrivantis

Trivantis Vaast Solution Provides Instant Access and Management of Corporate-wide Digital Assets for Faster, More Effective eLearning Course Development -- Trivantis Vaast (Virtual Asset and Sharing Technology) helps customers reduce time to market by improving the speed and effectiveness of course development. By integrating IntelligenceBank DAM technology (Digital Asset Management) with Lectora, multiple Lectora Online authors will have a centralized repository of digital assets for collaborating, distributing, briefing, approving and tracking content seamlessly.

Trivantis and IntelligenceBank Digital Asset Management partner on Trivantis Vaast solution to allow faster, more effective eLearning course authoring and deployment by providing multiple Lectora authors simultaneous access and management of corporate-wide digital assets.

The solution also helps organizations beyond eLearning and Training and Development Departments who are currently without an existing corporate-wide DAM.

The Trivantis Vaast solution is perfect for organizations with dispersed assets, and with no central repository and content governance system. Media management will now be made simple for Lectora Online users, who will be able to organize, store, sort, search, and tag all assets in one central location.

Files such as images, video or audio can now be efficiently utilized and seamlessly embedded in multiple courses.

“The integration of Vaast with Lectora Online will give Trivantis customers the ability to easily manage the design and development of assets (graphics, audio and video) outside the eLearning team, have consistent templated branding across courses, allow for ongoing updates to assets across courses over time, track the use of assets and consumption across courses, all while speeding up approvals/permissions for assets to be used or modified” said Laura Silver, Vice President of Products for Trivantis.

Lectora Online users will be able to share assets across titles, whereby updating an asset in the content management system will update it in all courses where it is being used in Lectora Online.

The system has full version control of a user’s entire asset library and allows users to add adaptive streaming capabilities.

Authors will enjoy a comprehensive and easy to use workflow system for approval, reviews, and permissions and will be able to track asset history and use, in titles in development and in published courses.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with the world’s most awarded eLearning company, Trivantis, and strongly believe that Lectora’s fast, effective course authoring is made even stronger by the market proven capabilities of IntelligenceBank DAM. eLearning is a natural and powerful use case, and a significant market opportunity for us”, said Tessa Court, CEO of IntelligenceBank.
