An undeveloped or limited safety culture can lead to unforeseen and serious consequences for businesses. Despite increased awareness of the cost of workplace accidents and the drive for implementing safety systems, too many incidents are still occurring demonstrating that compliance alone is not enough.

Leveraging its 68 years of experience in people development, TACK International has worked with some of the world's largest organisations to help them address Safety as a key business driver and embed a culture of Behavioural Based Safety that not only protects businesses from financial, emotional and legal costs, but also yields productivity, improved performance and an engaged workforce.

TACK International’s partnership with Morgan Advanced Materials was aimed at helping them to deliver the  ‘thinkSAFE’ message and contribute to the embedding of a global culture of safety excellence.  The thinkSAFE programme has led to significant performance improvements with a 39% reduction in lost time frequency rate and a 22% improvement in working time lost.  The ongoing ‘thinkSAFE’ project has so far touched over 9500 employees in 26 countries across the globe. The company continues to experience increased employee engagement, performance and productivity as a result of the initiative. Further information regarding the project and outcomes can be found on the TACK website

Carole Hudson, Head of Behavioural Based Safety Initiatives (UK), comments; “Behavioural Based Safety is more than a way of working, it's a way of life. The key to Safety Excellence is sustainability and the continuous development of safe behaviours both inside and outside the workplace. TACK’s approach has proven to help organisations move beyond compliance, and realise the significant benefits associated with continuously reinforcing a culture of Safety Excellence. We are proud to officially announce our Behavioural Based Safety capability to the market.”

Samantha North, Managing Director of TACK International adds; “We have successfully partnered with clients to overcome a range of challenges, effectively creating a culture of safety excellence that contributes to improved business results whilst enriching the lives of all the people who come into contact with their organisations. We are keen to share our experiences and capabilities with businesses who wish to reap the rewards of a best-in-class safety culture”
