Sponge celebrates PMI’s success in securing two awards at the Learning Excellence Awards 2024

Bristol, UK – 24 April - Sponge is thrilled to celebrate the success of its client, Philip Morris International (PMI), which won two awards at the Learning Excellence Awards 2024. PMI's groundbreaking "Brand Accelerator" program, developed in partnership with agencies XEIM and Sponge, earned the Product or Process Training Award and the LMS and Learning Process Award.

The "Brand Accelerator" program is a key component of PMI's vision for a smoke-free future, focused on developing and responsibly commercialising innovative smoke-free products that offer a better alternative to cigarette smoking. Launched in Spring 2022, this ongoing 9-month blended university-style course combines e-learning, webinars, and on-the-job missions to support the development of commercial skills aligned with PMI's transformation journey.

To date, the "Brand Accelerator" program has reached over 2,000 participants from 84 countries, demonstrating business impact and receiving stellar feedback from participants. The program's success is a testament to PMI's commitment to driving positive change and embracing innovative learning solutions.
