The digital learning provider won two gold awards in the ‘Best Advance in Compliance Training’ category and one gold award in the ‘Best Advance in Custom Content’.

Sponge has added to its awards tally by winning three coveted Brandon Hall Group gold awards for excellence in Learning and Development. The leader in innovative digital learning won two gold awards in the category of ‘Best Advance in Compliance Training’ and one for ‘Best Advance in Custom Content’, sealing a clean sweep at the 2022 awards ceremony.

The awards recognise two cutting-edge projects that Sponge has delivered for the global pharmaceutical sector over the past year. The first involved the updating of anti-bribery training, for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical organisations, to make it more streamlined, role-based, and relevant.

The second project, for another large global pharmaceutical organisation, Takeda, focused on taking an innovative approach to code of conduct training to ensure it aligned with the global pharmaceutical organisation’s values, vision, and identity. There were two gold awards for this project, in the ‘Best Advance in Compliance Training’ and ‘Best Advance in Custom Content’ categories.

The entries were evaluated by a panel of independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and executives based upon the following criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation, and overall measurable benefits.

“These three gold awards are a major achievement,” said Lisa Coyte, Head of Creative Services at Sponge. “They demonstrate the strength we have across Sponge, from the account managers who worked tirelessly with our clients, to the designers, consultants, and project managers who delivered the solution. These three awards also reflect Sponge’s position as a strategic global L&D leader in compliance and custom content, as well as the deep sector-specific knowledge we possess, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.”

The scale of Sponge’s achievement was also echoed by Brandon Hall Group Chief Operating Officer, and leader of the HCM Excellence Awards programme, Rachel Cooke: “Excellence Award winners distinguish themselves through their growing understanding that all the functions of HCM are integrated and must work together to move businesses forward. It is a pleasure to see more organisations collaborating across functions and getting more sophisticated and accomplished at delivering measurable benefit through ground-breaking HCM practices.”

Excellence Award winners will be honoured at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference (Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2023) at the Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida.
