Announcement of new executive suite follows Sponge’s recent repositioning as a digital learning ‘core leader’ in 2022 Fosway 9-Grid™.
Following recent acquisitions to expand its digital learning capabilities, Sponge Learning has appointed a new executive team to lead its growth strategy, and position itself as a key digital learning partner for the world’s biggest brands.
After a series of acquisitions in 2020-21, Sponge broadened its offering from a pure custom design agency, to a strategic leader within the industry, offering a holistic set of digital learning solutions.
“We have a fantastic executive team now in place, to lead Sponge into our next phase of growth,” said Adam Poulter, CEO. “This team represents a wealth of collective experience in successfully aligning multiple acquisitions under a single brand: a deliberate choice, to ensure that we are well-positioned to pull together the best that Sponge has to offer and serve our clients in deeper and broader ways than ever before.”
The recent appointments to form Sponge’s new executive team include:
Adam Poulter, Group CEO
Tim Lyons, Chief Financial Officer
Olivia Haywood, Chief Marketing Officer
Kassir Kayani, Chief Technology Officer
Kerry Goodman, Chief People Officer
Wayne Barker, Chief Commercial Officer
The experience of the new executive team includes working with high-growth, buy-and-build organisations, building leading cultural environments in large enterprise and the FTSE 100, and transforming tech start-ups through innovative technology – a hugely important asset for Sponge as it seeks to build its reputation as a major technology player in the learning sector.
“Our successful acquisitions, coupled with the experience and expertise of this new senior team, expand our ability to offer our clients the best digital learning services on the market and help Sponge continue to develop as one of the most exciting places to work in the industry.”
Sponge’s growth was recently recognised by the 2022 Fosway 9-Grid™, which positioned Sponge as a ‘core leader’ in the digital learning industry; a promotion from ‘core challenger’ in 2021.
