Sponge Named among Top 5 ‘Innovative Technology Creators 2022’ in EdTech 50 Ranking

Sponge, the UK-based digital learning provider, has been recognised as one of the most innovative companies in the UK learning technologies space, placing at number four in the EdTech 50 ranking for 2022.

Sponge has announced its inclusion at number four on BusinessCloud’s EdTech50 ranking, which celebrates the UK’s most innovative startups, scaleups and established firms creating original technology for education and workplace development. In 2019, Sponge acquired Bolt Learning, a platform and authoring tool provider, signalling intent to expand from a pure bespoke content provider to offering broader tech solutions to the market.

The final ranking, announced Monday 14^th February, recognised Sponge’s increased presence in the learning technologies space, decided through a combination of 2,200 strong reader votes and the expertise of an independent judging panel.
