Press play on games in elearning at Learning Technologies Summer Forum
Plymouth, UKLearning NewsSponge
L&D teams looking to integrate games into their elearning are being offered practical tips and examples at Learning Technologies 2015 Summer Forum (June 16).
Award-winning elearning provider, Sponge UK, will be hosting a free seminar outlining what elearning games can deliver compared to ‘traditional’ instruction, how to include them within workplace elearning, the questions to ask before starting a project and the resources involved.
Managing Director of Sponge UK, Louise Pasterfield, said: “Elearning games can add fun, engagement and depth to workplace elearning, but it can be hard to know where to begin.
“Our seminar will guide you through the process using real life examples from organisations already using games successfully as part of their training approach.
“By the end of the session, our aim is to equip L&D teams with the practical knowledge they need to integrate games into their own elearning.”
Designed as a follow up to January's Learning Technologies event, the Summer Forum is a chance for delegates to catch up on key learning themes as well as access brand new ideas and content.
The event at London’s Olympia includes a free exhibition of more than 30 free seminars, an exhibition area showcasing 36 of the leading industry suppliers and the annual Learning and Skills Group Conference.
Games and gamification continues to be a growing trend in online learning with an estimated 40% of global organisations using it in some form as part of their workplace training.[i]
Sponge UK’s seminar, Press Play: how to integrate games into your elearning, takes place in Theatre 2 from 11.15-11.45am.
The provider, which was named Elearning Development Company of the Year at the Elearning Awards, will be exhibiting at Stand 8.
