Government puts Sponge UK on the map

Award-wining elearning provider, Sponge UK is featured on an interactive map of Britain showing the government’s industrial strategy.

The Department for Business Innovation & Skills has produced the map to show how it’s supporting regional growth in key economic areas. 

Sponge UK is highlighted as a successful business within the creative industries after getting funding from Creative England to help develop Adapt, a multi-device tool with industry partners. 

Adapt allows a single elearning module to adjust to fit any size device including laptops, tablets and smartphones. 

Managing Director of Sponge UK, Louise Pasterfield: “We are grateful for the support of Creative England and delighted to be recognised in this way. 

“The map is a useful snapshot of economic growth and investment and we are proud to be included as one of the businesses leading the way in our field.” 

Sponge UK which is based in Plymouth was named Elearning Development Company of the Year at the Elearning Awards

The company makes bespoke elearning for major organisations including Toyota, GlaxoSmithKline, Tesco and the NHS.     

The industrial strategy map was unveiled at an event in Parliament on Wednesday, January 28.
