Compensation@Work is Capstone in Saba’s Two Year Evolution; Highlights ‘New Saba’ at Industry’s Largest HR Technology Show.

Bracknell, UK, October 13, 2014 -- Saba (OTCPink: SABA), a leader in cloud-based intelligent talent management, marked the next phase in its business transformation with the launch of its Compensation@Work product (see today’s other release).  As such, the 16-year-old company marks its corporate makeover with accelerated business momentum, a cloud-based intelligent talent management suite, a new level of employee engagement, and a rebrand that will be unveiled in EMEA at HR Tech Europe.

Saba has transformed its business and simultaneously built momentum across all vectors of its business, including:

  • Business Momentum
Saba has more than 2,200 customers worldwide.  New cloud bookings grew 84% in its first quarter of fiscal year 2015 over the same quarter in the prior fiscal year and grew 78% on a trailing 12 months basis over the same period in the prior year. Recently-added customers range from high growth mid-market players such as Shutterfly to industry titans like Adobe and PetroChina. Existing customers, including Dell, the American Red Cross and the Philip Morris Corporation, are extending their Saba value by moving from behind the firewall to Saba Cloud. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2015, cloud renewals were in excess of 90%; and customer satisfaction is at an all-time high.
  • Product Innovation
With today’s announcement of Compensation@Work, Saba has expanded its full talent suite offering, completing an evolution from a leading Learning Management System to a full-fledged talent suite player. Just 10 months ago, Saba introduced its Recruiting@Work solution to the market.  Today, more than 80% of new sales include at least three product modules; the most popular combination is learning, performance and recruiting. And the pace of innovation continues unabated. Last month, the company secured three new patents for its unique technology.
  • Cultural Transformation
Internally too, the company is shape-shifting. With strategic new hires across every department, Saba is strengthening its talent management domain expertise while building a stronger, more empowered culture with leaders at all levels. Today, Saba has more than 800 people worldwide and an average Glassdoor ranking that has skyrocketed in the past 12 months by 70% to 4.1 out of 5, with 87% of the employees recommending Saba to a friend as a great place to work

“The new Saba is more than just a logo makeover,” said Emily He, Saba’s CMO.  “In today’s market, for a company to achieve enduring success, it’s essential for its brand to be relevant, authentic and accountable.  Our new brand is a reflection of our company’s commitment to ensuring long-term customer value, being a great place to work, and delivering outstanding business results.”
