Saba Announces Customer Panel for @ Work 2014 with Guitar Center, Kimberly-Clark and Yum Brands

Industry Leaders to Discuss Creating Cultures of Engagement and Motivation

Bracknell, UK – February, 2014 –Saba (OTCPink: SABA), a global leader in next-generation cloud solutions for talent management, today announced the marquee customers who will participate on its Customer Executive Panel for @Work 2014, Saba’s annual global user conference. This year’s panel, scheduled on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. EST, will feature leading executives Chris Salles, director of e-learning, Guitar Center; Tina Busch, global learning and development director and CLO, Kimberly-Clark Corporation; and Rob Lauber, vice president of Yum! University, Yum! Brands Inc. The @Work 2014 event will take place on April 7 – 10, 2014, at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, Fla.

Chris Salles is the director of eLearning at Guitar Center and represents more than 350 stores in 44 states with more than 12,000 employees overseeing all eLearning functions. Prior to joining Guitar Center, he took the path of many Guitar Center associates and is an accomplished jazz trumpeter. Salles began his retail career at Guitar Center in store operations in East Brunswick, N.J. A year later, he was promoted into the position of regional division manager covering 40 stores across seven states. By 2005, he was division sales manager of technology products and served in areas including instructor-led training. In 2011, he was asked to move to corporate headquarters as director of store labor where he implemented the company’s first workforce management platform. In 2013, he returned home to the training side of the business to upgrade Guitar Center’s LMS to Saba Cloud. Salles attended Rutgers University.

Tina Busch is the global learning and development director and CLO at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, where her work centers on the passionate belief that culture (people, their knowledge and behavior) is an organization’s most vital competitive advantage. In order to continue achieving compelling business results, now more than ever, employees have to find new ways to work, increase innovation, use emerging technologies to improve connectedness with colleagues and customers, address the shifting demographics of the workforce, and compete more effectively in the global marketplace. In addition to leading workforce improvement initiatives domestically and internationally in the public and private sectors throughout her career, Busch is a published researcher in sales effectiveness. She is based in Roswell, Ga., and holds a doctorate in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University.

Rob Lauber is the vice president of Yum! University at Yum! Brands, Inc. He has served in this position since joining Yum! in 2006. In this role, he has the responsibility for leading the direction and strategy for Yum! University and its programs as well as providing learning leadership and strategy globally across the Yum! system. Previous to his role at Yum! Brands, Lauber was the executive director of Learning Services at Cingular Wireless in Atlanta, Ga. While at Cingular, his team was recognized as a Top 100 Training organization by Training Magazine for three consecutive years. He is frequently a participant in panel discussions, webinars and learning profession related articles across the globe. Lauber holds a bachelor’s degree  in Communications from the University of Scranton, as well as a master’s degree in Human Resources Development from Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2013, Lauber was named CLO of the Year by Chief Learning Officer magazine.
