Reed Learning is running a free webinar this Thursday 8th March addressing some of the challenges faced by the L&D profession in 2012.

"Ahead of the Learning Curve: The Changing Role of L&D"

This webinar addresses the dramatic changes taking places in the field of organisational learning & development. Over the last year, over 60% of UK Learning and Development teams have reported a reduction in headcount and training resources and budgets are down for over 40% of them. The session, delivered by Reed Learning's Head of Learning and L&D thought leader Neville Pritchard, will consider the research findings and suggest some practical ways to do more with less.

Strategic challenges faced as L&D professionals will be discussed, including:
• The need to link L&D focus with business change and strategic goals
• Adding value to your organisation through developing coaching, consulting and mentoring capability
• Choosing the right mix of formal and informal learning
• Evaluating the impact of learning interventions
• Improving the internal perception of L&D
