QA cyber security apprentice Stephanie Haynes of HORIBA MIRA just became the first woman in the UK to successfully complete the Cyber Security Technologist Level 4 apprenticeship programme – and she knocked her end-point assessment out of the park with a Distinction, the highest possible grade achieved by only one other learner so far.

QA has signed the Tech Talent Charter (TTC) as part of its ongoing commitment to break down career barriers, bridge the UK’s skills gap, promote a diverse workforce and support women in tech. Founded by employers across the recruitment, tech and social enterprise fields, the Tech Talent Charter (TTC) brings together industries and organisations to drive diversity and address gender imbalance in technology roles. The government supported the TTC in its UK Digital Strategy policy paper published in March 2017.
