QA announces Data Literacy partnership with Carruthers and Jackson
QA, the UK leader in IT, leadership and business skills training, is pleased to announce a partnership with Carruthers and Jackson to promote Data Literacy and Data Maturity programmes to organisations throughout the UK - and beyond.
Carruthers and Jackson was formed by two of the world's leading data experts in data-driven transformation, Caroline Carruthers and Peter Jackson, in order to work with organisations to improve their data maturity. As Caroline and Peter say in their first book, The Chief Data Officers Playbook, "Nothing, literally nothing, works in a company without the input of data in some way."
Together, Carruthers and Jackson and QA will provide market-leading data learning solutions, from whole-organisation data awareness, through deep learning for data professionals in Data Analysis and Data Science, to Data Leadership training for CDOs, CIOs and Board level. This offering will greatly enhance QA's already comprehensive data learning solutions portfolio.
David Walker, Portfolio Director - Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies at QA, said:
"We are very excited to welcome Carruthers and Jackson as a trusted and highly respected business partner. Carruthers and Jackson provide an innovative approach, addressing the thorny issues of Data Leadership and Data Governance. QA and Carruthers and Jackson will be collaborating together to accelerate the exposure and launch of a world-leading suite of data literacy services and solutions to our customer base and to support them during their Digital Transformation 'Re-future'."
Caroline Carruthers, co-founder of Carruthers and Jackson, adds:
"We work to improve data literacy across organisations with our education programmes, through our books and data community work, as well as working with organisations to hold onto their sense of responsibility while unleashing their imagination on how they use data. We look forward to leveraging QA's market presence and scale to spread good practice, create more data enabled organisations and improve the UK's overall performance in this critical area."
About Carruthers and Jackson
In the world we live in, data is recognised as an asset but organisations are still struggling with how to drive the true value from it. We look to all the exciting advances being made around innovations like Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (augmented intelligence), but if organisations don’t get their data right first, they are just building houses of cards. Carruthers and Jackson was set up to make sure this doesn’t happen to you.
