Project Agency experiences encouraging levels of demand for its e-learning materials

London, UKLearning NewsProject Agency

Project Agency, the project management training and development specialist, has experienced an ‘encouraging’ level of interest in its ‘Perfect Project’ e-learning materials. Less than six months since the e-learning materials were launched, demand is rivalling that for the company’s well established training course of the same name.

The e-learning materials are based on the contents of Project Agency’s two-day training course. Over 14,000 delegates have successfully completed this course since it began running in 1997 – so, on average, some 1,000 people each year, or over 19 people every week during that period, have completed the course.

Ron Rosenhead, managing director at Project Agency, explained: “We developed the e-learning course for those who want to deliver projects effectively and with a high degree of success – and who prefer to study at a time and in a way that suits them best.

“Both the e-learning and instructor-delivered courses are intended for those who want to develop their project management skills – and who want to understand what lies beneath successful project delivery.”

The e-learning materials enable learners to:
• use a standardised framework for defining, planning and controlling projects
• recognise the role(s) they play and define other people’s contribution to the project management process
• recognise and reduce risks within all types of project work and
• use a range of tools related to project management

Combining reading material, activities (with model answers), audio commentary, video, on-screen guidance and assessments, the e-learning course introduces the learner to a project management approach that is used throughout the UK and Europe. The course has been specifically designed to encourage and reinforce learning.

For those who want to develop their knowledge and skills in particular areas of project management, Project Agency has also developed a series of e-learning modules, covering:
• Project planning
• Stakeholder and Risk Management
• Benefits Management
• The Business Case
• Identifying and having clear roles in projects

These modules are individually priced at £20 or £25 each + VAT, while the entire Perfect Project e-learning course costs £100 + VAT. For further details, visit the Project Agency website (http://projectagency.co.uk/elearning/) or call +44 (0)20 8446 7766.
