Vyond, in partnership with Omniplex, has launched a variety of British characters and scenes into its popular animation tool.

Vyond (formerly known as GoAnimate) empowers professionals, at all skill levels, in all industries, to create engaging video content themselves. Vyond have rolled out new scenes and characters to the Vyond Studio, all with a very British twist. The new assets include: Police and NHS service people, British streets and scenes, London buses and many notable UK landmarks.

Vyond already has a vast UK userbase, and is used by 12 million professionals worldwide. With features that go far beyond moving text and images, Vyond allows users to create character-driven stories that engage audiences and deliver results, easily and cost-effectively.

Now, Vyond have made the move to address the needs and preferences of many important clients in the UK. These exciting new developments have been well received by customers, who already speak highly of the animation platform. These customers include Thomas Whittaker from the NHS Trust who commented “We choose Vyond to enhance our e-Learning because it helps us to build training videos set in unique, custom environments and with characters that look familiar and are engaging. We are also big fans of the ability to reuse characters across projects and of the extensive content in the Vyond libraries. It's given us another, really powerful tool for getting our messages across and bringing both our learners and our educators into the digital world”.

Suzanne Wilson and Lisa Kay, clinical subject matter experts at the NHS Trust also commented, “Vyond allowed us a platform to create an animated interactive module that enhances the fun of learning. The variety of avatars and the ability to use your own voice over gave us the opportunity to create characters similar to the producers of the module. The bright backgrounds and props just added to the excitement of creating this learning module and have noticeably increased the uptake in completion of our training”.

Echoing Thomas’s views, Hayley Lawes from The Ministry of Justice commented “Our aim was to bring in house learning within the Ministry of Justice to a higher standard. Bringing in Vyond has enabled us to create our own high-quality videos using software that is both accessible and user friendly. The company has been really supportive in our requests and ideas, helping us to bring to life elements of learning in really unique ways. Our learners are more engaged with our content and feedback has improved tenfold.”

Andrei Grayson, Sales Manager at Omniplex commented on the latest update saying: “This new, very British, update to Vyond Studio is going to hugely benefit our users. Here at Omniplex, we love Vyond, and our customers do too. Making videos that accurately represent the UK market will be of huge benefit to our customers”.
