Nimble Community Day Matters

Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, working together is success.” It’s a philosophy shared by Nimble Elearning. It’s demonstrated in the format of their CPD accredited Community Day (Conference • Networking • Awards) on 19 September. A day when customers meet to network, participate in workshops and listen to success stories from others who use the elearning platform.

Set in the beautiful Cotswolds at the historic Stonehouse Court Hotel, the day aims to help bring together the Nimble community – something it’s been doing for five years. The event has evolved into one driven by the needs of the Nimble community, where feedback has led to an emphasis on collaboration.

Customer-led workshops and presentations will be delivered by a variety of organisations; LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, ECG Training, Haven Claims, Jessops Academy and JoJo Maman Bébé. Their focus will be on ways in which training and development has been enhanced, cost effectiveness improved, and new technology employed to increase learner engagement.

Communities are strongest where people learn from one another

These are all features that are considered when the Nimble Awards are handed out at the end of the Community Day. Akin to the Oscars, the awards are another way in which collaboration is celebrated. They identify customer innovation and success. They not only offer validation of hard work and ingenuity but provide a showcase for others to adopt similar working methods and ideas. Finalists this year include: AIRDAT, Aldi, ARICD (The Association for Research in Infant & Child Development), CJ Retail Solutions, ECG Training, Forest Holidays, ISM (International Safety Management), JoJo Maman Bébé, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Link Group, Link Asset Services, Marsh Finance, MBA Group (DOTS) and This Mum Runs. Communities don’t just work together, they celebrate each other’s success too

Another feature of the day which delegates enjoy is the chance to network. Those occasions to chat with others in their field of work or share challenges with others who have found solutions that work. A time to exchange phone numbers, email address or connect with each other on social media, so mutually helpful relationships can be formed.

Communities are most effective when they are based on strong relationships

A recurring comment from every Community Day references the satisfaction customers get from meeting the Nimble team too. To chat with people who’ve been a helpful voice on the other end of the phone or who sent constructive tips via an email. Part of the day will include a chance to get a first-hand account from Managing Director, Neil Hyde, about what exciting new developments are in store for Nimble.

The day is always a big success all round. Attendees can be assured by a warm welcome – from the whole Nimble Community.
