Netex releases new L&D gamification survey ahead of Learning Technologies

LondonLearning NewsNetex

Award winning learning technologies solutions provider Netex has commissioned a brand new gamification readiness survey ahead of Learning Technologies 2016. The survey provides respondents with a personalised report and Netex will discuss initial findings during their seminar slot at the show.

Gamification is one of the hottest trends in L&D at the moment, hardly surprising given it promises to boost course completion rates, increase learning retention and generally improve employee attitude and enthusiasm for learning.

In partnership with Andy Jones a leading UK-based Learning Consultant (Honeyboot and Lemon), Netex's survey will assess an organisations approach to learning design and delivery, and make recommendations on how they can integrate a gamified approach to learning programmes.

Commenting on the survey, Mike Byrne, UK Country Management at Netex said: "We know that implementing a new gamification programme may appear daunting, however this is not necessarily the case. Using solutions like Netex learningPlay you can add gamification techniques to existing content and/or platforms, rather than starting from scratch."

He then adds: "the real barriers to implementing gamification techniques and standards are more closely linked to the structure and design of your underlying learning programmes. This independently commissioned survey will help organisations to assess themselves against these competencies"
