Learnlight Receives Chief Learning Officer Award for Deutsche Telekom Blended Learning Program

Learnlight has been awarded an Excellence in Blended Learning Gold Award from Chief Learning Officer at the 2018 Learning in Practice Awards for its work with Deutsche Telekom.

 

London, 5 October 2018: Learnlight is delighted to announce that it has been awarded an Excellence in Blended Learning Gold Award from Chief Learning Officer at the 2018 Learning in Practice Awards. The prestigious Gold award recognizes Learnlight's blended learning program partnership with leading telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom. 

The Learning in Practice Awards which are now in their fifteenth year recognize key players in the learning world who have created and delivered exceptional employee development programs. 

The 2018 Learning in Practice Awards winners were announched on Tuesday 2 October during the Chief Learning Officer Fall Symposium in Houston, Texas. Learnlight's CEO Benjamin Joseph, Aishah Davis, Head of Product Management and Brett Walker, Head of US Business Development attended the awards event at the Marriott Marquis in Houston, Texas.

On receiving the award Benjamin Joseph commented: “We are enormously proud to receive the prestigious Chief Learning Officer Gold Award for the best use of blended learning for our partnership with Deutsche Telekom. This reward is a true recognition of the digital transformation that Deutsche Telekom and Learnlight have delivered to the telecommunication organization’s global language training program.”

Learnlight and Deutsche Telekom - transforming language training together 

In 2016 Learnlight became Deutsche Telekom’s sole global provider of blended English language training services as part of their Global English digital transformation initiative. Learnlight’s language training solutions have now been integrated into Deutsche Telekom’s Learning Management System (LMS), giving Deutsche Telekom employees the flexibility to design their own personalized learning experiences. 

Learnlight’s blended learning program which is specifically developed for professionals working in an international environment has fundamentally improved the intercultural communication skills of Deutsche Telekom employees as well as considerably reducing the company's training spend.
