Learning Nexus launches its new m-Learning product at the World of Learning Exhibition in October
Learning Nexus Ltd will be exhibiting at the World of Learning Exhibition on the 2nd and 3rd of October 2012 at the Birmingham NEC. Now in its 20th year, the World of Learning remains the UK's most comprehensive event for all aspects of Learning and Development.
Learning Nexus is pleased to announce the launch of its new m-Learning product, Mentor4Managers. Mentor4Managers is available for delivery when managers need it on iPad, iPhone, Android, PC and Mac.
Mentor4Managers consists of a library of video mentor clips offering advice and performance support to managers when they face a challenge that is either new to them, or which they have had difficulty with in the past. M4M enables managers to think laterally about their own problem and solve it.
These just-in-time videos will be available in two formats... Stories, where the mentor relates an anecdotal solution, either featuring him/herself or someone they know, that reflects a particular management issue or challenge. The stories help the user by showing them that their problem is not unique to them. The stories often suggest the possible outcomes of failing to take action, as well as showing the benefits of doing so. They also always provide a positive way forward.
‘How Do I’ videos, which are short and succinct pieces of advice, again relating to key issues facing managers. They deal with a very wide range of subjects spanning the entire management role. These are designed to go straight to the point and indicate a view on how to approach specific issues.
The great advantage of M4M is its availability – as soon as a manager has a problem, the solution is right at their fingertips. It also serves as a general management development aid and many managers may simply choose to trawl for subjects of interest.
