Evolution of L&D: interview with Virtual College
Virtual College has completed a series of reports into the views of 2,000 of its learner community on how workplace learning is evolving. Learning News spoke to the series authors.
In the two years since the pandemic struck learning has been one of the areas of work where great change has taken place. Everyone has experienced learning digitally and we're now starting to experience what some are calling hybrid learning.
Throughout the second half of 2021 Virtual College has investigated the views of 2,000 of its learner community and produced three reports. The first on learners’ preferences showed what learners want from their employers when it comes to their learning and development and we also covered this report on Learning News. The second looked at learning and development as an investment from the employers' perspective and there's an interview with David James exploring its findings. The third report is out this week and considers the future of learning and development.
The report series authors, Nicole Horsman and Simon Falconer from Virtual College, join Learning News to explore a few of the series highlights.
