Totara announces performance and engagement platforms
Totara, the open source learning management system vendor, is to announce the introduction of Totara Perform and Totara Engage, as part of a significant update of the Totara suite.
At Learning Technologies 2020, Totara, the developer of the open source learning management system, Totara Learn, outlined the introduction of two significant new features, a performance platform, Totara Perform and an engagement platform, Totara Engage, as part of its next update, Totara 13.
Learning News interviewed Lars Hyland, Chief Learning Oficer for Totara, to find out all about it. We asked Lars about how the market is changing and about the trends he is seeing around wider learning ecosystems.
Lars talks about learning, performance management and organisational development being interdependent, yet often feeling like separate parts in many organisations. He points out that business has started to make stronger links across learning and HR and across organisational and cultural development inititaives, and that this trend is behind Totara's investment in its new performance and engagement platforms.
