People experience at River Island
Nebel Crowhurst and Mike Collins talk about HR's role in supporting River Island's rapidly evolving business.
At World of Learning 2018, two of River Island's HR team, Nebel Crowhurst - Head of People Experience and HR and Mike Collins - Senior Digital Learning and User Experience Specialist, spoke to Learning News about their session at the conference on digital transformation and their transformative work at the retailer.
River Island is rapidly transforming itself from a high street retailer to a digital business, involving considerable investments in new technology, distribution, people experience and adapting to new consumer behaviours.
Nebel and Mike and the People Experience team at River Island find themselves at the heart of this journey. In keeping with the one of the conference's overwhelming themes, "experience", Nebel and and Mike told Learning News about their role working on River Island's people experience, for its staff and its customers, through learning, HR, new technologies and improved communications.
