The LPI has announced the shortlisted entries for The Learning Awards 2027. Finalists, chosen for their innovation and impact, will now advance to the judging phase.

The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) has unveiled the finalists for The Learning Awards 2027, marking a significant milestone in the race to secure one of the most prestigious honours in workplace learning and development.

This year’s competition attracted a record number of entries across all 21 award categories, reflecting the breadth and dynamism of the learning sector, from global industry leaders to innovative start-ups. The 2027 awards also introduce two new categories: Learning Employer of the Year and Learning Programme of the Year, recognising excellence in two important areas of learning and development.

Each finalist has demonstrated outstanding innovation, performance and measurable impact, earning a place among the sector’s leading organisations and individuals. The finalists now progress to the final judging stage, where independent judging panels will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners. The winner of the Learning Giveback Award, meanwhile, will be determined by a public vote. Edmund Monk, CEO of the LPI, commented:

"Once again, I am heartened to see the workplace learning community rise so resolutely to the challenges we face. The sheer number and quality of entries this year are extraordinary. There is so much innovation, achievement, and passion driving our industry forward - leaving no doubt that L&D professionals continue to prove their essential value and positive influence on business performance.

It is these people, and the organisations behind them, that The Learning Awards exists to recognise and celebrate. From established global brands to agile start-ups, from seasoned leaders to those at the beginning of their journey, every finalist has already earned their place in the spotlight. I extend my warmest congratulations to them all.”

The Learning Awards ceremony takes place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on 11th February 2027.
