The Learning and Performance Institute and Abodoo will work together to help organisations better understand, measure and respond to workforce skills challenges.

The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) and Abodoo have announced a strategic collaboration focused on helping organisations make better decisions about skills, capability and workforce readiness.

The collaboration brings together the LPI’s expertise in workplace learning, professional capability and industry insight with Abodoo’s skills intelligence technology and workforce analytics. Together, the organisations will explore ways to support employers as they respond to rapid changes in skills demand, AI adoption and workforce transformation.

The partnership will focus on helping learning, talent and people leaders build a clearer view of current and future skills needs, understand capability gaps, and connect workforce insight with practical action.

The collaboration follows recent joint research between the LPI and Abodoo exploring the L&D capability gap in the age of AI. The research highlighted the growing importance of AI literacy, data fluency, governance, strategic capability and evidence-based workforce planning.

Ed Monk, CEO of the Learning and Performance Institute, said:

“Skills are now one of the defining challenges for organisations. Employers need clearer insight into the capabilities they have, the gaps they need to close, and the skills that will matter most as work continues to change.

“Our work with Abodoo reflects the LPI’s commitment to helping organisations move from discussion to action. By combining professional learning expertise with skills intelligence, we can support learning and talent leaders to make more informed decisions about capability, workforce readiness and future performance.”

Vanessa Wainwright, CEO of Abodoo, said:

“Organisations are under growing pressure to understand skills in a more dynamic and evidence-led way. The pace of change, particularly around AI, means leaders need better visibility of capability across the workforce and clearer ways to act on that insight.

“We are delighted to be working with the LPI to support this important agenda. Together, we can help organisations connect skills intelligence with learning strategy, workforce planning and practical capability development.”

The LPI and Abodoo will work together on a number of skills-focused initiatives, including thought leadership, research, practical resources and opportunities for senior learning and workforce leaders to explore how skills intelligence can support organisational decision-making.

Further details about the collaboration will be shared in due course. For more information, contact the LPI at [email protected]
