LPI appoints Jonathan Fletcher as Chief AI Strategist

The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) today announced the appointment of Jonathan Fletcher as Chief AI Strategist. In this role, Fletcher will lead the LPI's efforts to research, apply, and educate on artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities across the learning, performance, and talent industries.

"We are thrilled to welcome Jonathan to the LPI in this critical strategic role focused on AI," said Ed Monk, CEO, LPI. "With over 20 years of experience in learning and development, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge that will help guide the LPI and the L&D industry through this exciting new field of artificial intelligence."

Throughout his career, Fletcher has designed and delivered global learning and talent strategies for organisations including BP, Technicolor, Currys and Capita. His expertise spans designing and building learning technology ecosystems, delivering learning programs, and managing large-scale skills and career infrastructure projects.

"I am excited to join the LPI and leverage my passion for AI to help learning, performance, and talent leaders understand the practical applications and strategic implications of these technologies," said Fletcher. "My goal is to empower organisations to take advantage of AI in ways that create opportunity for their business, their employees, and their learners."

Fletcher will work closely with the LPI's research, products, services, and events teams to inform how AI can enhance organisational learning, talent development, knowledge management, content delivery, and more. He will speak at the LPI's upcoming events and author research reports, articles, and blogs to educate the industry.
