Sarah Lindsell, PwC, is awarded Gold at the 2016 Learning Awards
Wins the CLO of the Year at flagship awards ceremony in London.
Sarah Lindsell, Director of Global & UK Learning Technology & Transformation at PwC picked up the "CLO of the Year Award" at the prestigious Learning Awards 2016 ceremony in the Dorchester in Park Lane, London last week.
The award, sponsored by Lynda.com, a Linkedin company, recognises the leadership qualities needed to operate on the global stage and to have the trust and confidence of their leadership as they operate at the highest level in their companies.
Lindsell was selected for the Gold against stiff competition from FMC Technologies and TATA Consultancy Services. Judging the award was a panel of industry luminaries including Nigel Paine, who commented, "This award attracts extraordinary learning leaders, each with their own unique style and all of whom have made a huge impact on their respective organisations and added real value to the bottom line."
In her position, the judges felt that she used her considerable skills in negotiation and influence to transform the learning operation of PwC, enabling the network of learning leaders across the organisation to move forward and embrace technology solutions for learning. They unanimously agreed on her selection as CLO of the Year
