Largest online educator in the Netherlands is awarded accredited status; demonstrates commitment to excellence and outstanding customer satisfaction.

The Learning & Performance Institute (LPI), the foremost accreditation and membership body for the learning sector, and Pink Coat, the LPI's official Benelux partner, is pleased to announce that SkillsTown, the largest online educator in the Netherlands, has achieved accredited Learning Provider status for the first time.

The LPI accreditation programme for learning providers independently evaluates and endorses a provider's ongoing commitment to outstanding customer care, integrity and operational efficiency. A recognised standard in the industry today, the programme employs a highly robust framework, developed over many years by learning experts, and validated by data from thousands of organisations, to measure, benchmark and improve learning capabilities.

Already accredited by six other industry bodies, this latest LPI accreditation now puts SkillsTown at the forefront of business excellence as a service provider to the learning and development industry and is a further endorsement of its position on quality of service and innovation.

Hans Schuurmans, CEO, SkillsTown, said: "We are proud to be the first in the Netherlands to achieve the internationally recognised accreditation from the Learning and Performance Institute Benelux. As an online educator we are committed to delivering the highest level of quality to our customers and we are proud that our learning and especially our performance support solutions, based on our DirectKnow platform with Essentials, have met the highest requirements demanded by LPI. Together with our partners and customers we will remain focused on continuous improvement of all our learning solutions."

Pink Coat has been selected by the LPI as its official partner to deliver accreditation programmes to the Netherlands and SkillsTown is the first organisation to be awarded accredited status as a result of this partnership.

Commenting on SkillsTown's accreditation, Henriette Kloots, Pink Coat, said: "I am very pleased that SkillsTown has successfully completed the LPI accreditation programme. They are a great example of a company constantly pushing the boundaries and developing themselves to stay ahead of the game. I am very confident that with the support of LPI Benelux we can help them to keep developing themselves."

Edmund Monk, Managing Director, Learning & Performance Institute, said: "Today’s leading learning organisations have a huge demand for quality content delivered with urgency. SkillsTown's portfolio of e-learning, webinars and performance support, together with its proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and operational efficiency, positions them as an excellent partner for organisations that are seeking a strategic and credible provider of learning."
