Training Synergy (A division of The Synergy Group) has helped 3 more candidates achieve the level required to be awarded their Institute Certified Training Practitioner certificates.

CRS (Care Records Service) Training Manager, Angela Buckell and her two colleagues Shaun Kidd and Abbas Rokerya attended the Training Synergy 2-day TPMA train the trainer course which culminates in the assessment for the award. Angela was delighted with their success: “This really helps establish the credibility of the training team within the trust and in the wider NHS. It has made us all rethink our approach to training in trying to make our sessions even more exciting and enjoyable.”

Training Synergy TPMA Assessor Niall Shanahan said “All three responded really well to feedback during the training and you could definitely see how they applied it to their assessment sessions”. Abbas Rokerya was proud to have an accreditation that “Recognises what I am good at….I want to go on and get more qualifications now”.

The 2-day TPMA train the trainer course gives trainers the chance to get feedback from the trainer and their colleagues about their delivery, before going on to the assessment itself. Shaun Kidd added “It taught me new training skills and helped me understand how the learners might feel. I have a new perspective on how I train and that’s got to be good.”

It couldn’t have come at a better time, as the three were presented with their certificates and new membership of the Institute of IT Training with days to go before launch of a massive IT project, the new Care Records Service, to the Trust – we wish them luck!
