Institute of IT Training Awards shortlist announced

Nearly 40 organisations and 14 individuals have been named on the shortlist for this year's Institute of IT Training Awards. The Award winners will be announced at a ceremony sponsored by the British Computer Society on 1st February next year. Again the event will be hosted by TV broadcaster Lucy Alexander and take place at The Dorchester, in Park Lane, London.

In addition, one person who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the IT training industry will receive the QA-IQ sponsored Colin Corder award at the Awards' ceremony.

"Once again the standard of entries in all categories has risen showing the industry's commitment to continuous improvement; the main objective of the IITT," commented Colin Steed, the IITT's Chief Executive. "The judges who will now determine the award winners will have a very difficult time again this year."

As in previous years there will be a charity auction in aid of the charity Childline. Last year we raised a magnificent £15,575. The aim is to raise £20,000 on 1st February to achieve a 5 year total of £100,000.
