The Institute of IT Training has been awarded ISO9001:2000 approval for its accreditation and membership services, awarded through the Lloyds Register of Quality Assurance (LRQA).

Colin Steed, chief executive of the IITT, is delighted with the awarding of the certificate: "This award benchmarks and recognises the integrity of these core IITT services and reflects the professionalism of all the IITT staff in the way they operate these processes and present them to our members. Everyone at the Institute is proud to have the IITT recognised in this way and looks forward to contributing to the ongoing maintenance and development of its range of quality services to its valued members.

"The gaining of this universally recognised award ensures and demonstrates that both IITT members and organisations gain a consistent and quality service, as expected from an industry leading professional body."
