Vodafone UK wins award for best use of mobile learning
One of the world’s leading mobile communications providers, Vodafone UK, walked away from the E-Learning Awards with an award for their game changing approach to learning, communication and performance support.
The company won the award in the ‘Best use of mobile learning’ category, having radically changed the playing field for mobile learning within a corporate environment.
The E-Learning Awards were judged by a panel of 35, coordinated by The eLearning Network and chaired by Tony Frascina. The panel was faced with reviewing over 400 international entries across 19 categories and finally shortlisted 145 finalists after a series of presentations.
Mike Booth, Learning Technologies Manager at Vodafone, said: “In our industry it’s so important to keep the sales team up to date with developments in technology – something we found especially difficult with stores all over the country. The Fuse platform has helped us to do this – ultimately improving business performance and increasing Customer Lifetime Value by 6%.
“Taking an award back to the team for best use of mobile learning is great news for us – I’m sure we’ll be back again next year talking about the next phase of the programme and the impacts it has driven for the business.”
A case study is available which provides more information about how Vodafone transformed learning in its organisation.
