Citrix to Enable Desktop Transformation with Services Resources, Programs to Support XenDesktop 5 ~ Technical tools and programs help customers achieve successful implementations ~ Citrix is announcing new customer and sales partner resources to support the release of XenDesktop 5, currently available worldwide.  This portfolio of offerings accompanies a host of others presented during Citrix Desktop December, a month-long focus on technical training and resources available for successful implementation of XenDesktop 5.

The worldwide availability of Citrix XenDesktop® 5 last week marked another milestone in the advancement of desktop virtualization. Bringing more simplicity and power than ever before to virtual desktops for both users and IT, it supports a wide range of new consumer devices, thousands of new third-party products and an entirely new generation of web and software-as-a-service (SaaS) apps. The extensive list of technical resources and programs Citrix has released for XenDesktop 5 supports the Desktop Transformation Model with consultative services from design through implementation. ·         Citrix Demo Center, a cloud-based demonstration platform, is now updated to showcase the power and simplicity of XenDesktop 5. ·         The 90-day XenDesktop Implementation is a consulting service offering from Citrix, which guides customers in the implementation of up to 1,000 XenDesktop 5 users in production in as little as 90 days. This training course prepares administrators and engineers to achieve their Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) certification in XenDesktop 5.
