Xyleme LCMS Standardizes Content Development and Production for Information Builders.

Xyleme, Inc., is pleased to announce the publication of their latest case study featuring long-time customer Information Builders, a leader in business intelligence (BI) and analytics, information integrity, and integration solutions.

The study analyzed Information Builders’ collaboration with Xyleme to integrate a dynamic learning content management system that enables content reuse and streamlined development. Xyleme LCMS (learning content management system) has had a significant impact on Information Builders’ ability develop and reuse content more effectively, as well as reduce inconsistencies and duplicate content.

“The ability to quickly produce consistent outputs across a team of people is a core function, enabled by the Xyleme platform, and a high-value outcome,” according Andy Nivison, Information Builders Vice President of Customer Education.

Within Xyleme LCMS, content is stored as small, granular objects, making reusing content across multiple projects easy and efficient. Hours of restructuring content to accommodate different outputs are virtually eliminated with Xyleme LCMS’s single-source XML, allowing content to be delivered to multiple outputs with the push of a single button.

“Using Xyleme has enabled us to render our content consistently and professionally in multiple formats without additional resource demands, and it continues to open up more avenues, such as Xyleme’s ready-made tablet app, for us to provide our rich learning content to a broad customer base on various technologies,” added Emily Duensing, Senior Manager of Curriculum Development at Information Builders.

The case study can be viewed in it’s entirety on the Information Builders Customer Page on the Xyleme website.
