4-Hour Single-Source Course from Chapman Alliance and Xyleme Offered Free Under Creative Commons; Available in Print, Web and Mobile Outputs.

Boulder, CO; October 11, 2012 – About 74% of knowledge workers use two or more devices for work and 52% use three or more reports Forrester Research. This dramatic shift in how learners consume content means that it’s never been more critical or strategically important that organizations can delivery learning content on demand to any device or application. That is where single-source comes in.

Taught to world class organizations by Bryan Chapman, single-source content development is the idea that from a single-source, content can manipulated, re-used and output to any format: student and instructor guides, eLearning, tablet and smartphone apps, just to name a few.

On September 12th, to an audience of nearly 1000 registrants, Bryan presented how by using Xyleme LCMS technology and single-source methodologies, he was able to turn the content of his highly sought-after, 2-day instructional workshop into a full course that can be published to numerous outputs.

Well, Bryan has made that 4-hour single-source course available for free! Yes, really, thanks to Creative Commons licensing. It is available in Print, eLearning, tablet and soon, smartphone outputs. The Developing Single-Source Learning webpage on the Xyleme website provides everything people need to know about getting access. From there, visitors will be able to:

Those interested in learning more about the technology that powered Bryan’s Single-Source Course, can join a Xyleme LCMS demo on Thursday, November 8th.
