New conference tackles the latest trends and techniques for learning technology design

learning design live takes place as part of the World of Learning event on 29 & 30 September at Birmingham’s NEC. The comprehensive conference is free and specifically designed for professionals working in learning tech design. It will provide in-depth advice on a variety of topics including design goals, diagnostic assessments, action mapping to gamifying content and overcoming the latest challenges in instructional design.

As part of learning design live Dr Richard Hyde, CEO of award-winning e-learning company Mind Click will share his expertise on Action mapping from process to productionStoryboarding as a quality process - not just a document is set to be covered by Richard Law, Head of Learning Solutions at Cuerden Consulting, discussing how quality source content affects the quality of an e-learning course. Delegates can also discover the latest gamification tricks used to acquire, monetise and retain players in a session by Mike Hawkyard, Managing Director of Amuzo. Six characteristics of compelling content will be delivered by Clive Shepherd, Consultant at Onlignment covering planning, channels and how to drive engagement. BT Group’s Digital Learning & Media Manager, Martyn Stevenson-Read is also among the expert speakers. Martyn leads the team producing e-learning, animations, live action video and web designs to enable learning across a 90,000+ workforce.
