How RICS upgraded their learning to a 21st century platform

Leeds, UKLearning NewsWebanywhere Limited

Webanywhere and RICS to present at Learning Technologies on how RICS' Academy and elearning solutions have lead to huge benefits for them.

Learning Technologies is Europe’s largest L&D conference, featuring over 7,500 visitors, 250 exhibitors, 150 free seminars and 70 conference speakers. On February 4th, this will play host to Alex Noble, Online Academy Manager at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), who will be giving a presentation alongside Webanywhere detailing how, with Webanywhere’s help, RICS were able to upgrade and improve their learning platform.

RICS first approached Webanywhere several years ago with a view to creating an online academy for their thousands of worldwide members. This platform needed to be scaleable and flexible, with personalised dashboard reporting, universal accessibility and an ecommerce storefront for training provision. Noble will be discussing the successes the platform has seen since its 2014 launch, and how other companies can benefit from a similar solution.

The key theme of RICS’ presentation will be how Webanywhere were able to successfully upgrade RICS’ disjointed former system into a successful elearning platform, featuring social learning, mlearning and elements of gamification in order to boost engagement and uptake.

RICS and Webanywhere will be presenting “Micro Learning and the rise of mobile” at Learning Technologies 2016 Theatre 2 on Thursday 4th February, from 10.15am to 10.45am including an audience Q&A.
