CPFT are to present on how their new elearning system has saved almost £50,000 and countless hours of training time at the 2016 Learning Technologies show

This week’s Learning Technologies show will be hosting speakers from Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) to discuss how their implementation of a modern, Totara-based elearning platform has positively impacted the trust as a whole. Aja Rennie and Vanessa Moore will be leading the presentation taking place at 3.30pm on Wednesday Feb 3, in Theatre 2.

Working with Totara Platinum Partner Webanywhere, CPFT were seeking to leave the existing Oracle Learning Management system used by the NHS due to its numerous shortcomings, including a poor user-interface, very little guidance and support and no way to get at-a-glance reports. Being a hospital environment, these were all of vital importance.

Rennie and Moore will be discussing how using the open-source Totara platform allowed them to solve a huge number of their problems, delivering ongoing savings of almost £50,000 already, following a design and delivery phase of only three months.

This seminar is recommended for healthcare L&D professionals interested in moving away from existing one-size-fits-all approaches, and will be covering various aspects of the consultation, delivery and post-sales process.

“eLearning and development with CPFT” will be taking place at 3.30pm in Theatre 2
