EdTech 15, the education technology conference hosted by Webanywhere, in Leeds on June 23rd, will focus on the growing necessity for technology in the classroom.

With presentations from Microsoft, Planet Sherston and leading institutions such as the Heart of Worcester College and Holy Family Catholic School Keighley, the day will highlight how technology is changing the world of education.

The speakers will touch on some of the most pressing EdTech trends, including ethos in education, developing skills to promote lifelong learning, making learning accessible to all students, teacher training and CPD and technology in the classroom, as well as the management of the VLE and Ofsted compliance.

Sean Gilligan, Webanywhere CEO says: “As teachers and parents are looking for new ways to engage with students and devices become widely available, there is an increasing demand for high-quality educational apps. But it’s not just about the development of apps, EdTech must address the most urgent needs in education and have one key focus, the future of today’s students”.

He adds: “We are looking forward to the opportunity to share our knowledge and network at next week’s conference.”
