Yorkshire e-Learning company Webanywhere has announced that it will partner with the British Safety Council to offer web based compliance training platforms to UK businesses.

Webanywhere Head of Operations, Conor Gilligan, explains:

“Our expertise is in providing e-learning platforms to businesses of all sizes. Partnering with the British Safety Council allows us to provide pre-populated platforms which are ready to use out of the box. This all-in-one solution reduces the lead time for businesses who want to get their training programmes online quickly and simply.”

The courses are delivered via Moodle - an open-source LMS platform used by over 60m people worldwide.

Companies will be able to access the e-learning platforms on a subscription basis, without the need to have their own learning management software on site.

Pre loaded courses, designed and built by the British Safety Council, will include manual handling, fire safety, driver safety and health and safety for managers. Users will then be able to add their own learning materials to the platform as they wish.

Matt Sharp, Operations Director at British Safety Council comments:

"We know that organisations need help and guidance to deliver the right health and safety training to their people without it becoming complicated and burdensome. We have partnered with Webanywhere to deliver a package of learning which covers core topics that should be part of any health and safety training programme. Our courses are built using our 60 years of experience in health and safety best practice and delivered using Webanywhere's modern and flexible platform."

The new platform is available to the public as of this week.
