UCLH and Webanywhere seminar to demonstrate successful onboarding with e-learning
UCLH (University College London Hospitals) and Webanywhere will be demonstrating how the right approach to e-learning can result in a greater uptake by staff at this week’s Learning Technologies Exhibition.
Rob Beer, of UCLH, and Webanywhere’s Learning & Development Consultant Kristine Clough will use the UCLH Totara system as a case study in their seminar Successful Onboarding With e-Learning. They will highlight how a collaborative approach to implementing the solution has resulted in greater flexibility and staff having ownership of their learning.
Those attending the seminar will be provided with a walk through of how a large NHS Trust improved induction and training of new staff - and now support more than 10,000 users with the system.
Webanywhere were approached by UCLH in 2013, when a new system for e-learning was required. UCLH were looking for a collaborative approach to finding a solution, having previously using a system that was only accessible on site, and that sometimes even ‘lost’ results.
UCLH chose Webanywhere’s Totara solution as it was easy to use, accessible from any device or location and boasted advanced reporting features. Webanywhere were willing to work alongside UCLH to create a system that improved on-boarding.
Conor Gilligan, Head of Webanywhere’s Workplace Learning Division, said: “The Totara system we have implemented for UCLH has been one of our biggest and most rewarding projects to date. We’re honoured that UCLH have agreed to present a case study of this system with us at the Learning Technologies exhibition.
“To date, we’ve seen more successful onboarding than ever at UCLH - thanks to the flexibility Totara provides. UCLH have even been awarded a prize within the NHS for the most improved compliance figures.”
The Learning Technologies Exhibition takes place on the 29th and 30th January at Olympia 2, London. You can see Successful Onboarding With e-Learning, by UCLH’s Rob Beer and Webanywhere’s Kristine Clough, at 11am on 29th January in Theatre 6.
