Webanywhere, Inc, already a leading e-learning provider globally, has been awarded official Moodle Partner status in the United States, building on existing Moodle partnerships for the UK and Polish markets.

Moodle Partnership is awarded by Moodle to highly experienced service providers who have a proven track record in delivering an exceptional standard of Moodle services to end users of the open-source LMS. As well as serving Moodle users, Moodle Partners contribute both financially and through collaborative development to improve and evolve the core Moodle software.

Martin Dougiamas, Founder of Moodle and CEO of Moodle Pty Ltd said: “WebAnywhere has been growing alongside Moodle for 7 years, and it’s a pleasure for us to now support the expansion of their services in the US, joining our other partners in the region. I feel confident that they will be a great option for educators who are using Moodle in any sector.”

Webanywhere’s Moodle services comprise design, custom development, systems integration and support/hosting. They currently provide e-learning services to a range of organisations, including Zara (Inditex), the British Safety Council, the NHS, Dominos and Safeway, Inc, and intend to build on this under the new partnership agreement within their core vertical markets, including healthcare, training companies, membership organisations, and the retail sector. A full outline of services is provided on the company’s website at:

The partnership announcement marks the third territory in which Webanywhere have achieved Moodle Partner status, following similar awards in the UK (2006) and Poland (2012).

Conor Gilligan, Head of Operations, said: “The partnership builds on the work we’ve already done with US companies in implementing learning management systems. We’re looking forward to helping more organisations take advantage of the cost savings that open-source software allows, whilst maximising learning outcomes.”

Sean Gilligan, CEO of Webanywhere, Inc added: “I’m immensely proud of the high quality work that our specialist Moodle team consistently demonstrate. I believe it is this dedication to Moodle, and expanding the reach and benefits of e-learning, that has led to us receiving this new accreditation. I’m keen to increase our client base in the US, while retaining the same work ethic and family values that we currently have in our UK & Polish operations. As an active member of the British-American Business Council, the US Moodle Partnership is particularly exciting for me. ”
